Andrew is serving as the Experience Matters VISTA Leader, providing support for AmeriCorps VISTAs in five cities throughout their service year. Andrew is fostering a community of practice among VISTAs, sharing their work with a larger audience, and enhancing project stability and sustainability. He is also creating professional development trainings for the VISTA cohort.

Before joining the team, Andrew served two terms as a VISTA member with Alabama-Korea Education and Economic Partnership (A-KEEP) in Montgomery and Korean American Community Services (KACS) [now HANA Center] in Chicago. While at A-KEEP, he worked in accounting and finance and assisted with compliance work for language and culture programs. While at KACS, he worked in resource development and mainly focused on fundraising and grant research for community health, financial literacy, housing counseling, workforce development, and ESL programs. He also served as a Guest English Teacher for two public middle schools in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province, South Korea.

Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in East Asian Area Studies from the University of Southern California. He is originally from the Greater Philadelphia area and currently lives in the Bronx.
