Many residents aged 50+ have experience and expertise that can be tremendous assets to their communities. The Cities of Service Experience Matters program helped leaders in five cities draw on the wisdom, insight, and skill of older volunteers to solve public problems. A partnership with AARP, the program built stronger communities and supported residents during the pandemic.
