Scenes from Our 2019 Annual Convening
Every year, Cities of Service gathers city staff together for our annual convening, where attendees network, share ideas, and think creatively about citizen engagement. It’s one of our favorite times of the year. Over the years we’ve created a community of dedicated and talented people around the world who support each other and are passionate about serving their cities.
This past November, we hosted our 2019 convening in Dallas, Texas. During our two days together, we held panel discussions, tested out a few of our Citizen Engagement Techniques, and learned about some of the creative and effective initiatives being implemented in our coalition cities. Most importantly, we strengthened the ties between our cities and continued to build a community of people that can learn from one another as they solve problems, navigate difficult situations, and make their cities stronger.
